my dearest hindu makkals,
well…the time has come for us to stand up and fight for our rights. these brothers of ours..the greatest lawyers have did their best to strive and die for us. may the creators be with them and all of us here till the last.we’ve been neglected and non of them outside there is going to support or help us in anyway.that’s for sure.we’ll leave them aside but we start making our moves from now onwards.without any violance and hardship,we are going to acculamate the wealth by ourselves.we need to be united and trust each other deeply.we elect these great lawyers as our leaders and start collecting our fund RM10 per indian every month. estimated about 1 million indians will surely agree and there will be RM 10 million monthly in our fund. see!!!! we’ll have have our own hard earned money and we don’t have to beg.by being honest and smart,we use these fund cleverly to help those indians in all the ways we can.but these monthly donations should be noted and all our indians who are contributing should be acknowledged and given the privilages.later,the others will surely join us and we could sponser our indians who need cash to do businesses, for our younger generation to further their studies,to upgrade the poor people in our country and many more miracles can be done.yes,i know maybe you might be thinking these ideas may not work but most important thing from now,we need to trust and believe in ourselves.we need to be together and united to implement this idea.never stop and in 10 months there will 100 million in our fund. please consider this matter and let’s be together and help ourselves.

Hi Ram, brilliant idea.. but when it comes to money.. don’t even trust your own blood. Who’s going to be the trustee for these funds? It’s a huge amount of money. We can’t even trust MIC Leader, do you think – we can trust a public to hold these funds? Even temple funds are being mis-managed by temple committee members. Thou it’s a brilliant idea, it won’t work.

what you are saying is absolutely correct. we need some pure tamillians out there to be the trustees. we are in the era of no choice left. we need to elect the people whom we trust and at the moment the best people around i know are the fantastic 4. i mean the lawyers and i believe they would die for us if this plan is implemented. let them hold and manage the fund with legal documents prepared and presented to us. trust them and soon we’ll become the richest ethnics in this country. Why not?

Also, the post by Ramadas need some pondering upon. We need to start our own Indian based charity, Indian lawyers sangam, and Indian human rights watch. We need to structure ourselves, just like the Germans and the Japanese. We need proper accounting etc.
Hindraf should spearhead this movement. If you have any contact within Hindraf, please do suggest to them that we need to do more than rallies; we need to take action for our own survival. Please strike while the iron is still hot.

It is a great idea to have Hindraf spearheading a movement to cater for the needs of the Indian. We should do everything in the most professional way possible.Having lawyers and elite professionals to spearhead is absolutely a good idea. My vote is defintely NOT for MIC and BN cos they failed to deliver their mandate.!
Once again, will please someone put a stop to the rumour sms??? and Mahen, it will be great if u have a team to set up a website for Indian to really focus on them. Malaysia-today is doing their part but i think we need to have one for ourselves. I am sure u can do it as per seen in performance in reporting the Hindraf Rally. I am pretty sure public will pour in the donations if we have the team..Good Luck!

hi that’s great idea to have fund. In fact we have this fund in my family in which every family contributes monthly. This fund is then used to help the family members to put an initial down payment on houses and also during emergencies. We use this fund every year to go on a family holiday.
WE can modify this idea to develop something

Hi there’s a lot homework to be done to start up a fund. First of all let’s put our thinking cap on and think on the objectives and aims of the fund. Later we have to look at the regulation governing to this fund. Will the fund be paying any dividend( if so then it have to incorporated under Koperasi) We have to appoint legal trustees. We also have to look into how this is being managed. Surely even RM 1 million a month will amount to RM 12 million a year which is a lot. If proper investment is not undertaken then there’s a lot of opportunity cost we have to face. Unless this fund is used to increase the capital holding of Indian Malaysians by buying major shares in aspiring companies such as Air Asia etc. By doing so we could also have say in major corporate decisions. Surely the government will not be able to ignore us as unproductive Malaysia indians.

Hai Guys, it is a great idea by Mr. Ram. i dont mind to donate RM 100 every month. it’s all for our makkals.
Mahen, may be you could suggest this idea to our great Lawyers. Lets make it ourself rather than wait the goverment to take action. Let’s be productive makkals and conquer 10% of the economi of malaysia. Make them shut their b***y mouth.
The main problem in our community is all the while we scared to step forward to do everything. The Lawyers have done their part. it’s our duty, being youngsters to help ourself and the community. Look at the Chinese, they help themself. They dont rely on goverment and their leaders is there to back-up them financially. That’s why goverment thinking twice to touch them.

Since we now have the power of the IT industry behind us, those who can blog, please do so about the “akramams” against indians. We have to constantly follow stories on individuals who are being discriminated. For example:
- what happened to the body snatching and kidnapping of wives and children: sharmila, revathi, moorthy’s widow, etc?
- what is happening to the relocated tamil schools?
- what about the relocated temples?
- what about sujatha’s murder/suicide case?
- what happened to Maika?
- what about the hundreds of promises made by MIC politicians to their constituents?
What we need is a Malaysiakini like website such as the already available policewatchmalaysia.com, but including the rest of the issues. If someone checks on the police, others must check on the indian politician’s businesses, on syariah court rulings, temple demolitions, progress of tamil school, etc. Facts must be verified so that it can withstand scrutiny.
This must be a website with integrity. This website can also include donation collections, with details of the administration and accounting.
One thing that can EASILY bring down Indian spirit and reputation is the mishandling of funds, which seems like a cancer in our society.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sunday’s demonstration by Indians has set them back and trivialised all their hard work in the past, a senior official of a Hindu organisation said yesterday.
“Street protests are not our way,” said R. Gopal, vice-president of the Malaysian Hindu Sangam, Federal Territory.
“Indians in this country are basically law-abiding and would not resort to violence to solve problems.”
He said the demonstration organised by the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) was disappointing as “we have lived together and enjoyed peace in Malaysia”.
His sentiments were echoed by a spokesman for The Malaysian Hindu Dharma Mandaram, a religious organisation, that said Indians should not resort to street protests to resolve issues as these would lead to violence.
They could take their grouses to the prime minister through the proper channels, he added.

KUALA LUMPUR 27 Nov — Sekumpulan lapan lelaki yang mendakwa anggota Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) memukul dua pekerja sebuah restoran di Brickfields setelah enggan membayar bil makanan yang mereka makan dengan alasan mereka memperjuangkan nasib masyarakat India di negara ini.
Ketua Polis Daerah Brickfields, ACP Sulaiman Junaidi berkata, kedua-dua pekerja restoran itu mengalami kecederaan di badan termasuk seorang terpaksa menerima jahitan di kepala ekoran perbuatan kumpulan lelaki berkenaan.
“Kumpulan lelaki yang berumur dalam lingkungan 20 hingga 35 tahun itu telah dua kali datang ke restoran tersebut dan enggan membayar makanan yang mereka makan atas alasan mereka dari kumpulan Hindraf yang memperjuangkan nasib kaum India,” kataya kepada pemberita di pejabatnya di sini.
Beliau berkata, dalam kejadian pertama pada Ahad, kumpulan lapan lelaki itu makan di restoran berkenaan pada 3 petang tetapi enggan membayar bil yang berjumlah RM85.
Bagaimanapun katanya, untuk mengelak daripada berlakunya pergaduhan pengurus restoran tersebut membenarkan mereka beredar.
Beliau berkata, keesokan harinya kumpulan lelaki yang sama datang semula kira-kira 7.30 malam dan sekali lagi mereka enggan membayar bil yang berjumlah RM54 sehingga mecetuskan pergaduhan.
“Mereka yang bersenjatakan sebilah parang dan sebatang besi kemudiannya bertindak memukul pekerja restoran tersebut yang berasal dari India dan merosakkan harta benda di restoran itu sebelum melarikan diri dengan menggunakan dua buah kereta jenis Naza Ria dan Toyota Hilux yang kemudian dikenal pasti menggunakan nombor pendaftaran palsu,” katanya.
Sulaiman berkata, ekoran kejadian itu restoran tersebut kerugian RM5,000 apabila 20 buah meja serta peralatan dapur dirosakkan oleh kumpulan lelaki terbabit.
Beliau berkata, kes itu disiasat mengikut Seksyen 148 kanun Keseksaan yang boleh dikenakan hukuman penjara lima tahun atau denda atau kedua-duanya sekali jika sabit kesalahan.- Bernama
